02.25.12 International Orange book layout DONE!
FINISHED!!! Done laying out my upcoming book for the International Orange show opening in May… Seventy-six pages of colorblocked text and images from an original 1937 publication for the opening ceremony of the Golden Gate Bridge. (this took forever!)

02.25.12 Calculating the volume of boxes
Can’t quite seem to picture in my head how much 500 kraft tuck-top boxes will take up in volume (of variable sizes). Best to whip it up in Google Sketchup. OK, now I see it…

02.10.12 FREE TEXTS at Badischer Kunstverein OFF SPACE, Germany

Curator Jacob Birken included a set of “FREE TEXTS” from a larger series that is currently on view at the Badischer Kunstverein’s OFF SPACE in Karlsruhe, Germany. I met Jacob during the ZKM exhibition “The Global Contemporary” and it’s nice to be able to participate in yet another show he has his hands in. It’s a quick little show, only up for about five days, called “From A to B and Back Again.” All images courtesy of Jacob Birken.
